Filiberto Cavazos, M.D., FCAP, FASCP, is a distinguished pathologist whose career spans more than sixty years. Trained at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, New York, and the University of Missouri Medical Center, he has served in numerous academic and clinical institutions, including The Ohio State University Medical Center and The University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, MO. A Fellow of both the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology, Dr. Cavazos has been a leading voice in advancing the standards of clinical laboratory medicine.
